Vox Boy Affiliate Guide & Sharing Tools

Vox Boy / Your affiliate field guide

Good gear.
Easy to share.

Apply here. Get approved. Get your link. We’ll walk you through the rest.

Hey! I’m John, the owner of Vox Boy in Pasadena. Thanks for being here. This guide shows you exactly where to click, what happens next, and how to share Vox Boy in a way that fits your audience.

Start your introductionGet sharing tools

Vox Boy is the product.
Collabs handles the affiliate part.

Here on Vox Boy

You tell us who you are and where you share your work. We review your introduction and email you.

No Instagram connection. No social password. No purchase required to apply.

Then, Shopify Collabs

Shopify powers our store. Its Collabs service gives approved partners a referral link, promo code, sales tracking, and a way to receive commissions.

You are joining our affiliate program. You are not opening a Shopify store or buying a store subscription.

An “affiliate” is simply someone who earns a commission when a qualifying purchase is credited to their link or code. Your audience gets a discount; you get credit for the referral.

01 / Introduce yourself

Start with the short Vox Boy form.

  1. Open our introduction form in a new tab. This guide stays open.
  2. Enter your name and the email address you want to use for the program.
  3. Paste your public website or channel link. instagram.com/yourname works; you do not need to type https://.
  4. Choose your audience focus. Tell us in a sentence or two how Vox Boy fits. The fields marked optional can be left blank.
  5. Tick the consent box and click Send my introduction.

You’re done with this step when you see “Thanks for the introduction!” You do not need to fill it in again.

We review applications individually. The confirmation is a receipt, not approval, and it does not issue a code. Keep an eye on your inbox and spam folder for our reply.

02 / After we approve you

Open your invitation. Accept the Vox Boy offer.

  1. Look for your Shopify Collabs invitation to partner with Vox Boy. This is separate from the application receipt.
  2. Open the invitation button. If you want to keep this guide beside it, right-click the button and choose Open link in new tab; on a phone, press and hold the link.
  3. Sign in or create your creator account using the email address that received the invitation. Follow Shopify’s email verification instructions if prompted.
  4. Read the Vox Boy offer, then select the invitation’s accept/get-started button. Button wording can vary.
  5. In Collabs, open Collabs → Vox Boy. Look for Active collab.

You’re ready for the next step when Vox Boy appears as an active collaboration.

Don’t start from a generic “open a Shopify store” page. Use your invitation. If a screen asks you to select a paid store plan, connect a social account that won’t work, or sends you in a circle, stop and email sales@voxboy.com. You do not need to upgrade Instagram just to send us an introduction.

04 / Set up where commissions go

Give Collabs a way to pay you.

  1. In your creator account, open Settings → Payouts.
  2. Choose Activate auto-payouts.
  3. Follow the secure payout setup. You may see Hyperwallet or a Shopify Partner Dashboard; these are part of Shopify’s payout process, not a request to start a store.
  4. Select an available payment method and enter your details directly on the secure setup screen. Complete identity or tax information if requested.
  5. Return to Collabs and check that your payout method is saved and any outstanding setup tasks are complete.
Settings Payouts screen with Activate auto-payouts and Tax details.
Start here: the Payouts tab inside Settings. Available methods and requirements can vary by country. Tap the image to enlarge.

Never email us your bank details, passwords, verification codes, or tax documents. Enter those only in Shopify’s secure setup.

A sale is not an instant payout.

Collabs first records a qualifying commission as pending. The return/holding period must pass, and the merchant payment must clear before creator payout processing. Cancellations and refunds can reduce or cancel commissions. Check Payouts for your actual status and timing.

Shopify currently processes eligible creator payouts twice monthly once its minimum balance is met. Your payout dashboard and invitation terms govern your account; currency conversion or payout-method fees may apply. Shopify’s payout help.

05 / What a referral can earn

A useful recommendation can add up.

Example: VB1 Pro, Mac, one microphone + headphones. At the current $2,999 USD kit price, your buyer pays $2,899 before tax and shipping after the $100 discount. Five percent is $144.95.

Vox Boy VB1 Pro recording kit; laptop shown is not included.25 qualifying kit sales$3,623.75Illustrative commission

At the $3,499 regular price: after the same $100 buyer discount, the illustration is $169.95 for one sale, $1,699.50 for ten, or $4,248.75 for twenty-five.

Illustrations, not an earnings promise or a current checkout quote. Prices checked October 2, 2026; the $3,499 example assumes a future sale at that regular price. Calculated as (eligible kit price − $100) × 5% × qualifying sales. Excludes taxes and shipping; refunds, eligibility, program terms and the actual Collabs calculation determine commission. No time period or sales volume is guaranteed. Laptop not included.

06 / Share in a way that feels like you

You don’t have to make a sales pitch.

Start with one useful place your audience already looks for advice. You can share product information without owning a kit. Only call it a review or describe hands-on results if you’ve actually used it.

A gear/resources page

Add a short Vox Boy card beside the tools you discuss. Explain who it might help, add your referral link, and display your code.

A helpful newsletter

Write about preparing for auditions or pickups away from home. Include Vox Boy as one recording-kit option, with the laptop and quiet-space requirements.

Podcast notes or a pinned comment

Place a labeled affiliate link and code beside a relevant episode or video about recording setups. Keep the disclosure beside the link.

Coaching and studio resources

Add the buyer guide and your code to a travel-recording checklist or gear handout. Recommend only when it fits the person’s needs.

Words you can adapt

Website / newsletter:

I may earn a commission if you buy through my link or code. Recording away from home? Vox Boy makes portable recording kits for voice over and podcasting. You’ll need a compatible laptop, initial software setup, and a suitable quiet space. Take a look at [YOUR REFERRAL LINK], or use [YOUR CODE] at checkout for $100 off an eligible kit.

Short video / story:

This is an affiliate link, so I may earn a commission. If you’re putting together a travel recording setup, take a look at Vox Boy. My link or code [YOUR CODE] gets you $100 off an eligible kit. Check laptop compatibility and the kit details before ordering.

Say the affiliate disclosure aloud and put it visibly on screen in video. For posts and stories, keep it easy to see beside the endorsement, not hidden behind “more.” If you haven’t used the kit, say you’re sharing product information—not a personal review.

Make your website card and sharing copy

Paste the exact referral link and code from your Collabs account. This builds copy for you; it does not create or activate a code.

Your details stay in this page; this tool does not submit an application.

Open the buyer guideOpen product image

Use the image to describe Vox Boy accurately. The laptop shown is not included. Add your own truthful context and affiliate disclosure.

Stuck? Here’s the next click.

I applied, but I don’t have a code.

That’s normal. We review your introduction first. You receive your link and code after approval and accepting your Collabs invitation. A preferred code on the form is only a request.

I accepted the invite, but I don’t see Vox Boy.

Check that you signed in with the email address that received the invitation. Reopen the original invitation in that same account. If it is expired or still loops, email Vox Boy support; don’t keep creating accounts.

Instagram or YouTube sign-in gets stuck.

You do not need social sign-in for the Vox Boy introduction form. Paste your public channel URL instead. If Collabs later blocks your approved invitation, email Vox Boy support with the screen’s wording and a screenshot with private details hidden.

My original page disappeared.

Open this guide in another tab and return to the original invitation email to continue. The invitation, not a generic Shopify signup page, is the starting point. Avoid submitting the introduction again if you already saw the thank-you notice.

Why does my offer show 0% and 5%?

The 0% default applies to other products. The current program pays 5% on the two specifically listed eligible kits: VB1 Pro and VB1 Pro Shotgun Ready. Read the named product lines in your offer.

A buyer says the code did not work.

Ask them to use your exact issued code, check that the cart contains an eligible kit, and verify the discount before paying. They should contact John if it still fails. A code being accepted is not proof that your commission has been paid.

Need a hand? Email sales@voxboy.com with “Affiliate setup help,” your application email, and the step you’re on. Please hide personal/payment details in screenshots.
