Voice Over Success Story: From Small-Town Kansas to Vox Boy Innovator

From Voice Over to Innovator
Starting from humble roots in Moscow, Kansas, I’ve spent the last decade building a voice-over career from the ground up. What began as a side gig from punk rock evolved into a full-time venture, allowing me to voice thousands of ads, video games, podcasts, and TV shows, all from my home studio. Instead of college, I learned on my own to record, edit and engineer; mostly by pulling wires and pushing buttons until I broke something or it sounded better.

Along the evolving journey, I ventured into entrepreneurship by founding Pretty Nifty Productions, a commercial filmmaking company, and later launching Spexster, a platform helping filmmakers and crew find work globally. Always chasing new challenges, Vox Boy portable recording kits were born out of neccessity for a mobile rig. Something much more professional than just throwing your gear in a bag and having to build your studio at every stop. With this kit I've been able to unchain myself from my home studio and travel anywhere in the world and never miss a job opportunity.

My story is proof that with faith, hard work, aligator blood, and a bit of creativity, you can build your own path. My mission is to guide and empower others to use their voice and Vox Boy kit to quit their day jobs, start a new full time career, and have the freedom to travel the world and forge the life they want to lead.
